Degraded pasture from Plopana Bacau, Eastern Romania
Environmental degradation by pluvial erosion. The erosion phenomena in the Eastern part of Romania are very aggressive. Water erosion is influenced and favored by climate with torrential rainfalls and by anthropogenic impact, due mainly to intensive grazing.
