Mendenhall Glacier
This is a view from above on Mendenhall Glacier and Mendenhall lake near Juneau, Alaska, USA. The photo was taken from the helicopter during flyover in summer 2014. Very large and deep crevasses in ice are formed near glacier entrance to the lake. The very small material of glacier flour forms the cloudy "glacial milk" in the lake water.
