Stob Mhic Mhartuin under snow
by David Tanner, Leibniz Institute for Applied Geophysics (LIAG), Hannover, Germany
View from Stob Mhic Mhartuin, a mountain on the northern edge of Glencoe, Scotland, east along the Glencoe valley. Glencoe exposes a Ordovician caldera, and the ring faults outcrop on Stob Mhic Mhartuin, although it was difficult to find under the snow!
