
The Kilmore Coastline in Ireland

The Kilmore coast is on the southern side of the Cashen River, County Kerry, Ireland. THe rock exposed are the Devonian Kilmore Formation, a fine, siliclastic red sandstone sequence. Outcropping above them are approx. 5m of glacial sediments, which consist of badly-sorted sands and gravels.
