Harbour of Riverine Plastic Clean-up Boats on the Chao Phraya River, Bangkok, Thailand

This photographs shows multiple "yellow boats" Bangkok Metropolitian Adminstration (BMA) on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Every day, the BMA activates many yellow boats to remove floating plastic and litter. All boats gather at certain harbours/assembly points before they go on the river, to prepare the boats and distribute the workers in advance. The photo was taken during my fieldcampaign, where I sampled how Water Hyacinths entangle floating plastics.
