The image of Mont Blanc ("White Mountain") mount was taken from airplane during the flight from Istambul to Geneve, The great glacier is well seen in the left slope of the mount.
It is the highest mountain in the Alps and also the European Union. The highest peak is 4,810 m above sea level.
