Growth of Calcite (CaCO3) and Gypsum (CaSO4.2H2O) on Lead/Zinc Ore Deposits. The left-half side is highly enriched with Zinc Oxide Ore (Zincite, ZnO), so the pale yellowish-white color appears. The right-half side is highly enriched with Lead Sulfide Ore (Galena, PbS), so the pale greyish-black color appears.
