Capturing the moment of Stromboli's eruption. This active volcano is situated in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the northern coast of Sicily, Italy. It has been continuously erupting for thousands of years. Stromboli has two distinct sides, with an inhabited area situated behind the crater.
