Stairs to the crater
Grábrók is a volcanic crater that erupted approximately 3400 years ago in West Iceland. The different shades of colors are provided by the Icelandic moss and the basaltic scoria. Humans also have an impact on this photo, as wooden stairs modify the aerial appearance of the crater, resembling the deep roots of the volcano.
