Looking for Rolando's Breach through the Pyrenees

The Brecha de Rolando is a natural pass between Spain and France through the Pyrenees, at about 2800 m asl. The photograph was shot in one of the glacial valleys that must be traveled to reach it, at about 2,350 m asl, when we still had almost three kilometers to go. To the right of the image you can see some of the lingering glaciers.

La Brecha de Rolando es un paso natural entre España y Francia a través de los Pirineos, a unos 2800 m snm. La fotografía se tomó en uno de los valles glaciares que hay que recorrer para llegar a ella, a unos 2350 m snm, cuando todavía nos faltaban casi tres kilómetros para llegar. A la derecha de la imagen se pueden ver algunos de los glaciares que persisten.
