Pamukkale's terraces (Cotton castle), a landform made of calcite-rich hot water springs.

The splendid view of the white travertine terraces from a hot air balloon. Known as cotton castles, they represent a natural formation of mineral pools created by the flow of hot spring water rich in calcite minerals. This landform is located in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey.
