The picture was taken at the top of Gornergrat (~3,100 m) in Switzerland. The north observatory cupola on the Kulmhotel Gornergrat, the highest hotel in Europe, was constructed in the 70s. It is facing the magnificent Swiss Alps on a sunny day.
