Our job: Environment
A scientist fixing a measurement equipment above the Arctic Circle where the sun does not rise above the horizon in winter. The Arctic regions are especially sensitive to the air pollutants and greenhouse gases, which makes the area important for continuous measurements. The measurement site stands on a hill above the tree line covered by alpine tundra and in winter it is accessible only by a snow mobile. Despite the challenging winter conditions, scientists who work on top of the hill consider it the most beautiful workplace one could have.
