A fallen giant sleeps (La Bourboule, France)

What remains of a cataclysmic eruption 3 Ma ago, whose contours are still not clearly defined today, which projected ryolitic pumice ignimbrite over an area 100 km². Today the waters flowing here, rich in chlorinated sodium bicarbonates and highly arsenical as well as radioactive, treats respiratory and dermatological diseases of both young and old.
