Active fault in life

Tian-Liao NO. 3 Viaduct and Chung-Liao Tunnel cross Chekualin Fault and Chishan Fault in southwest part of Taiwan. The creeping of the active fault endanger the safety of the Highway NO. 3. The viaduct and the tunnel have dislocated more than 1 meter in horizontal and vertical direction respectively in past 20 years. The improvement construction are undergoing.
