Sunset at the Sphinx high altitude Observatory

The picture was taken at the Sphinx high altitude Observatory (3571 m ASL), located above the Jungfraujoch in Switzerland, after carrying out repairs to our MAX-DOAS instrument for monitoring the atmospheric composition. The MAX-DOAS is on top of the laboratory to the right of the dome. We enjoyed the last sunrays, reflecting on the dome and mountain tops, after a hard day of work and were satisfied that our instrument was working properly again.
