Boletus edulis growing on glacial deposits
Autumn is the season for Boletus edulis enthusiasts. The best catch is not the biggest or the healthiest, but the one you share with those who love you most. A healthy forest is a healthy home for all. But don't take for granted that everything is about trees: if you are out in the woods, consider checking a geological map, as these marvellous and tasty fruit of fungi can also be linked to glacial deposits in U-shaped valleys.
