Dune at the interplay of erosion and stabilization
The photo of this dune in northern Scotland was taken during a self-organized student field-trip to Scotland in 2013 and shows a beautiful image of wind erosion along a dune. Additionally, the dune is covered by a salt crust and vegetation highlighting the occurring stabilizing processes.
