by Maximilian Reuter, Institute of Environmental Physics, University of Bremen, Bremen, Germany
These images have been acquired from the European MSG satellite at July 21, 2009. The geostationary orbit 36000km above the equator allows an extraordinary view on the waxing Earth at 5:00, 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, 10:00, and 12:00 UTC (clockwise).
