Charm of Aletsch Glacier

This photo was taken on a day with overcast weather near the Bettmerhorn, a mountain of the Bernese Alps. It lucidly exposes the immense charm of the Aletsch Glacier, a rapidly retreating glacier of 22.6 km length formed by accumulation and compaction of snow. The magnificent view of the Aletsch Glacier certainly proves nobleness and power of the nature.
