Ice complex cliff in the Lena River Delta

Ice rich Pleistocene Ice complex deposits cut by a branch of Lena River in the Lena River Delta and subject of rapid coastal erosion (up to 20m/year). Huge polygonal ice wedges account for up to 65% by volume of these permafrost deposits. The cliff is about 30m high.
