When the sea of clouds meets the sea ice at sunset
Mt. Etna is the highest volcano in Europe exceeding 3,300 m of height. In winter, the snow covering the summit area often melts with a sea of clouds rising up from down, creating a fairy tale landscape where flank cones seem to come out of nowhere and the sky is weakly illuminated by the setting sun.
