Pillow-lavas of Middle Arenig age on Downan Point, South Ayrshire, Scotland. They are part of the Girvan-Ballantrae complex, a dismembered ophiolite. Note the cross-sections of the lava tubes in the foreground and more longitundinal sections on the left-hand side.
