A landslide-dammed lake in the Kedarnath Musk Deer Sanctuary in India reflects the High Himalayan peaks with near-perfect symmetry, creating a striking visual illusion. The basin formed through slope failure and natural damming, yet the water surface appears calm and stable. This contrast highlights how transient geomorphic processes can produce moments of visual order in an otherwise dynamic mountain landscape.
