The Cumbre Vieja eruption on La Palma in 2021 revealed the raw power of an active volcanic system, as rivers of lava reshaped the landscape and reached the sea. Towering ash plumes and glowing flows created a dramatic and ever-changing scene, capturing both the destructive force and natural beauty of the Earth in motion.
