Mosaic of Periglacial Textures Beneath Ausangate

During fieldwork near Ausangate, I was captivated by the colorful textures of this periglacial landscape. A mosaic of greys, greens, and ochres reflects ground shaped by shallow water movement, with alpacas grazing quietly across the lower slopes.
