Crevasses of Minapin Glacier beneath Mount Rakaposhi

by Muhammad Saad

Beneath Mount Rakaposhi (7,788 m) in the Karakoram Range in the Northern Pakistan, the Minapin Glacier unfolds as a maze of crevasses, seracs, debris, and shattered ice. What seems still and frozen is, in reality, a landscape in motion, continuously deforming and flowing downslope.
