The Throne of Neptune
A rocky outcrop rises from the shoreline at El Sardinero, Santander, revealing tilted sedimentary strata shaped by marine erosion. Perched on its top, the small “Niño Neptuno” sculpture turns the landform into a symbolic throne overlooking the Cantabrian Sea. The image captures the dialogue between geology, waves, and human presence along this dynamic coastal landscape.
