Dreaming about the moon
by Jakob Rieger
This picture of a Joshua Tree staring at the moon makes me think about what that tree must feel every night as the sun sets and the moon comes out. Joshua Tree National Park offers one of the clearest views of the dark night sky thanks to its location far away from city lights. Being able to watch the moon and the stars every night so clearly must awaken a desire in this tree to reach for the stars. There is so much more out there we don´t know that makes you both curious and nervous in some way at the same time. How long will they be able to stand there next to there monzogranite friends as they are threatened by droughts.
