Between Day and Night: A Skyward Moment
As my flight from Taoyuan to the Philippines ascended, the sunset unfolded in vibrant hues, painted by Rayleigh scattering. Above, a waxing crescent moon glowed softly, its faint light caused by Earthshine. As twilight deepened, stars and possibly Venus began to emerge, reminding me of the universe’s quiet complexity. The vastness of the skies made me feel connected to the cosmos, a silent observer of nature’s celestial dance between day and night.
