In this photo you can see some of the equipments used during the practical works. From left to right: an equipment used for transmission and reception of images and sound by using high-gain directional antennas; a prototype equipment for receiving VLF (Very Low Frequency) electromagnetic waves; an 8-inch telescope for observing sunspots; a weather satellite reception antenna (on the top of the Observatory building) used for downloading real-time APT weather data from NOAA weather satellite fleet; a teaching purpose radio telescope used to scan the sky; a 3.8m diameter prime focus parabolic antenna with elevation and azimuth control capabilities
