Jökulsárlón: The Shape of Ice
Ice blocks and icebergs in the Jökulsárlón Lagoon (Iceland). These ice giants come from the Vatnajökull glacier edge and flow down due to the tide currents and the wind towards the river mouth, where they get stuck. Their different shades are due to the amount of air trapped within the ice crystals, making them shine in a wide range of colors, from a pale transparent white to a bright glowing blue.
