A lullaby for the datalogger
A geophysicist checks a magnetotelluric datalogger in the evening sun, just south of Baga Bogd Uul, the eastenmost peak of the Gobi-Altai range in Mongolia. This datalogger was particularly troublesome, it had already stopped recording a few times, and we wanted to ensure it runs overnight before we set up camp in the vicinity.
