Sunset on Montescaglioso landslide
On 3 December 2013 a large complex landslide was triggered SW of Montescaglioso town, Southern Italy, following a rainfall event of exceptional intensity. It caused the destruction of roads, commercial buildings and private dwellings, and generated several direct and indirect economic losses. The photo was taken in occasion of a survey aimed at monitoring the residual movements of the landslide.
