A hung-over geologist* had his forehead pressed tightly against his fellow geographer's car side window pane while driving home, to Tbilisi, from a boring workshop when he noticed this remarkably textbook sketch standard normal fault by the side of the road. He asked his geographer friend to pose as a scale for him for a second, please. And took the picture.
