The Grange Orgiera landslide
The Grange Orgiera landslide is located on the left side of the middle Varaita Valley, in the Sampeyre Municipality. This landslide, activated in July 2009, is part of a deep-seated gravitional slope deformation placed in the Basal Serpentine Unit of the Monviso Meta-ophiolite Complex.
