Zona Rossa
A 6.3 magnitude earthquake on 6 April 2009 destroyed the historical city of L'Aquila. The Zona Rossa is an area that is still not accessible until today. Many houses were left as they are and the inhabitants could sometimes not even return to pick up their belongings. This photo was taken six years after the earthquake and showing the still fully stocked kitchen.
