Mountain Shadow over Taiwan
We summited Snow Mountain (雪山) to watch the sun rise over Taiwan's Central Mountain Range. The triangular mountain shadow is a perspective effect: the umbral (fully shaded) parts of the shadow converge and taper away from a central point as a result of the angle of the sun's morning rays.
