Agriculture and religion through history
Plums are one of the most important fruits in Balkan region, as well as in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
With long history of collection and high number of local varieties.
Most known for production of alcoholic drink Rakia (brandy). It is produced almost everywhere in B&H and ripen plums are decoration of every village, together with small churches.
